STOP THE TRAFFIK IS... a global movement of ordinary activists from around the world who believe that people should not be bought and sold. We believe that when people act, things change.

STOP THE TRAFFIK (the play) tells the amazing story of the development of this global movement. Using the words of Phil Lane (co-founder of STOP THE TRAFFIK) and testimony from some of those who have been trafficked, it explores some of the stories which inspired the birth of the movement. It goes on to reveal their determination to get the one million signatures they promised to enable them to go to the United Nations and call on governments to fight traffiking.

This promises to be Mark’s most incredible play yet.

The factionary method wedded to OYT’s commitment and integrity made even a piece on human trafficking compelling and emotionally engaging.

STOP THE TRAFFIK will be premiered in Southampton by the Oasis Youth Theatre, Lord’s Hill in March 2010
