Commissions

I am always keen to consider commissions for One Act Plays (or shorter). I have greatest experience in writing for Youth Theatre and Theatre in Education but am always willing to consider other opportunities. I would be particularly interested in writing for groups (adult or youth) keen on presenting a new play at a One Act Drama Festival.

All the plays I have written have been published so there is every likelihood that any play commissioned will end up being published.

I wrote the following plays as a result of commissions:

Legal Weapon was commissioned by ten Road Safety Authorities working together to create a play about speed on our roads.

The Gate Escape was commissioned by the Haymarket Theatre, Basingstoke to tackle the issues surrounding truancy.

Arson About was commissioned by Nelson Thornes from a play that had been part written.

Kill Jill was commissioned by the Birmingham Rep Young Theatre new writing program.

D2D (Driven To Distraction) was commissioned by by 'Is this Fun For Everyone?'/ Havering 16+ Transport Partnership and explores the problem of anti-social behaviour on buses.
